Devices New/CPO & Repurposed
While we service most of the new devices, the major market for refurbished and repurposed devices is huge and Goldie Group has been at the forefront of providing some of the best CPO, and Graded devices.

Goldie Group does both manual and automated grading of mobile thus making our grading system one of the best. Each cell phone goes through strict mandatory testing protocol established over years of experience. To ensure we deliver the GOLD standard all the time we have established a set of testing protocols. All phones that reach our warehouse mandatorily undergo these testing standards for us to grade the devices appropriately.
We test the phones for the following:
Aesthetics
Dents, scratches and/or chipping
Functionality
- Keys are working and are intact
- Internal / External speaker’s testing
- The vibration of the phone must be OK
- Camera testing
- We test-call on each and every of our mobile phones
- Battery condition and charging speed
Software/Diagnostics
The phone is able to boot up, communicate and is able to access all the hardware onboard
Overall
No dead pixels or any other malfunctioning
Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) or Grade AA+
Everything under Grade A + the phones are serviceable under manufacturer warranty
Grade A
These mobile phones are just like new, they have minimal wear & tear and are fully functional but are out of manufacturers warranty. The difference between an A grade mobile phone and a brand-new phone is usually the packaging and/or original accessories. But we at Goldie provide the OEM accessories too, along with our A grade phones!
Condition:
- Like new
- No chips, scratches, or cracks on the front glass and back cover
- No housing can have minor scuffs
- Home button can have light scuffs
- Home and power buttons function properly
Grade B
B grade phones are usually used-mobile phones that carry signs of regular/light usage. Though we use some of the latest technologies of buffing and polishing, due to heavy usage some of these phones might have signs of heavy usage. Phones of this grade have complete housing with all elements present. A fully functional mobile phone that looks just as new after the housing is changed.
Condition:
- Light wear and tear no dents
- 3 or less light scratches possible on front glass
- 2 or less chips possible on edges of glass
- Home and power buttons function properly
- Scratches/scuffs on back cover and housing
- Scratches possible on home button
Grade C
Devices that are graded at this level are usually phones that come with heavy wear and tear. There are signs of chipping, paint being worn out and are heavy scratches/dents. Though the housing may be damaged, these phones are fully functional.
Condition:
- Normal wear and tear
- Mild to Heavy scratches on the front glass
- 3-6 chips on edges of the front glass but no cracks
- Mild to heavy scuffs, scratches and chips/dents on the back cover and phone housing
Grade D
These are phones that show heavy signs of wear and tear and are functional in all respects except that they may have some missing parts and have heavy denting/chipping and signs of usage.
Condition:
- Heavy wear and tear
- Chips on front glass but NO bleeding LCD damage/Cracks
- Chips, cracks, and shattered back cover
- Home and power buttons do not always function properly
- Heavy scuffs, scratches, and chips/dents on back cover and housing
- Button issues and missing parts
Salvage
There are cases in which we receive phones that are called BER (Beyond Economic Repair) These phones may not be functional but may house parts that are reusable. Our engineers meticulously plan and salvage the pristine parts off these phones and categorize them in our automated inventory system for reuse during repair and warranty replacement of parts for graded phones.
Condition:
- Scrap or Safety Hazard
- Device does not power up
- Internal Battery damaged – Safety Hazard
- Bent board/device
